pocketpupsnet hid this cache in late July or
early August 2006, but the cache wasn't listed on Geocaching.com
for various reasons. The cache was "listed" via the WNC
Geocaching Yahoo Group and I found it August 18 2006. I offered
to be the local maintainer for the cache but have had a hard
time getting hold of her. So I decided to list the cache
officially to see if I could generate some foot traffic to the
cache.
I recommend parking at the bottom of the sloped "road" and
hoofing it the last 300-400 feet. The cache -- an ammo can -- is
well hidden and will require some careful footwork. Please be
careful as the rocks in the area will be slippery!
