A letterbox hybrid in Tepee Gulch.
The coordinates above are for the parking area. You can either walk from here, or drive the rest of the way to the cache (coordinates listed below). I think this would be a good daytime hike for any size/age family because it's only a mile round trip from the parking area. The road is pretty tame in this stretch. It would also make a good night cache, this is a pretty tame walk and spooky if you listen for the odd noises from the ghosts that live there. When I was there in the dark, it was DEAD quiet, which can be spooky too if you're alone!
To get to the parking area, take Rockerville Rd south from Rockerville to FS366.1. From this direction, the road is drivable by car. Past the cache site, the road gets bumpier and eventually become a rocky dirt road. If you decide to come from US16 directly, you need to take FS366.2A which connects to FS366.1. The rocky section is not shown on the travel map. Also note that the road is closed to motorized travel from Decemeber 15 to May 15.
