The cache is located high above Slippery Rock Creek near Route 19 and I-79 along Muddy Creek Road.
This is our first hide and was inspired during a stay at one of our favorite campgrounds nearby. Sitting and staring into the campfire at night always induces a Vegetative State as the cares of the day drift away. With this in mind, we hope you have as much fun finding it as we did hiding it!
The container is a medium-sized plastic jar with a screw-on lid in camo colors. The cache has items we collected during our caching adventures elsewhere, so don't be surprised if you see something you've come across before. One of our signature Hot Wheels is also included. Please repack the contents carefully and close the container tightly.
Closest parking is at N40 58.648 W080 10.709 at a wide spot in the road. For a more leisurely and fun hike, park on the Rose Point Campground side of the bridge on Old 422 and walk from there. The cache is about 0.49 mi. from the front of the campground...if you're a bird.
