Geocache Description:

This cache will take you to the site of Boonsville and the resting place of several early Brazos County settlers.

The given coordinates will put you near the resting spot of a well known early setter. You should recognize his name as it is used on a School in Bryan and a Parkway in Bryan/ College Station. Take the date of his death and subtract 1533, place the answer in N 30 40.___ ___ ___.

Find the W coordinate by taking the year his wife (AJ) died and adding 7876 and place it in W 096 1___.___ ___ ___.

This set of coordinates will take you the full size cache. It is large enough for Travel Bugs.

While in the area of the original coordinate, you may want to look for a "Citizen of the Republic" marker. I have only seen a few of these.
