This is a fairly easy cache set in the area of Radford Lake.
The cache is hidden in an area of woodland close to Radford Lake. This was once paart of the historic Radford Estate and is locally known as the "duck ponds". This should be fairly obvious from the amount of wildfowl but there are many different types of birds and swans on the lake and information boards are around to help you identify them.
This area has a lot of history and there are many references to Radford House, tunnells and caves in this vicinity. There is also a ghost called the "White Lady" Legend has it that she was a girl living at Radford in the 18th century who was forbidden by her parents to see her boyfriend due to his low ranking. Intent on seeing him she dressed in her normal white clothes and together they took a boat across the lake. It capsized drowning both of them.
