How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

All too often we are restricted from bringing our pets with us and are allowed even less to allow them to run free. This is a large undeveloped lake/meadow area that consists of a mowed path around the lake and very few people. So bring your four-legged friends and enjoy the hunt.

Over the years since the placement of this cache, we have lost our two best friends that gave us reason to give the cache it's name. On the wings of the wind Freckles and Jaspers ashes flew out to the meadow in front of this cache where their spirits can now forever run free and play with the wildlife. Feel free to greet them heartily as they most certainly are joyfully greeting you.

Parking lot is gravel. It is very close to the interstate and parking lot should be large enough to accomodate large RV's or maybe even a Semi. Alternate parking is located near by if needed. This should be a reasonably easy cache to find(compared to our first one at Zorinsky). There is often a lot of wildlife at this part of the lake and at times you may even be able to catch a Bald Eagle passing through. If you look in the right direction, you could even see the "Wetlands" from here.

Permission to place this cache has been granted by the Papio-NRD.

Cache contains the Basics:

Tackle box ruler
Flower Seeds
Fairy dust necklace
car
knak knak
Mighty Beanz
Bug tatoos
Marbles
and more...

Please Log any Travel Bugs or Geocoins that you find. Not following the code effects us all. Thank you. CITO!!!
