Geocache Description:

Large film can, black

This cache is in honor of a man we met who saved some turtles.

We were caching in downtown Lakeland when we were approached by a gentleman carrying a small container. He had saved three baby turtles who were trying to cross the road and wanted some advice on a good place to leave them so they would have a chance of survival.

This guy was driving a big high dollar SUV, but literally stopped in the middle of the street to save these little baby turtles. He was also wearing a "Vote for Pedro" t-shirt like the one in "Napolean Dynamite."

This cache is dedicated to that nameless guy. Inside you will find the rubber chicken award for FTF. Please fill trade in/out with turtle related items, travel bugs, geocoins, etc...this really is a film can, but a big one.

Terrain is not amenable for strollers or wheelchairs, but there are other caches in this park that are, so be sure to check them out. Please rehide as good or better.
