Herman Trelle, a farmer at Lake Saskatoon just a few miles from Grande Prairie, won the world wheat crown at the 1926 Chicago World's Fair with his northern hard spring, milling wheat.
This extraordinary accomplishment is the reason why Wembley uses the slogan “The district that made Peace River famous.”
The cache is hidden very close to where that world famous wheat was grown.
A medium size peanut butter jar with the usual goodies, a guestbook, pencil and sharpener and a First To Find certificate.
