This cache commemorates our 1000th find.
We found our 1000th cache at Mt Gardner (Bowen Island) - GCHCNX on
September 16, 2006. This cache was placed by AlsidPrime. To mark
the occasion, We decided to place a new cache in the general area
of one of AlsidPrime's archived caches. This cache did not last
long, but everyone who visited really enjoyed the cache location.
The view from the cache location is incredible, so bring along your
camera.
Park at the top of Platinum Lane. The first and last part of the
hike are the most difficult. The cache is about a 20 minute hike
from the trailhead.
