After a recent walk along the Cliffwalk it seemed a shame that
there were only 2 caches along the entire route, so we decided to
add a 3rd.
From the 40 steps parking area it is roughly 0.5 miles to the
cache. We prefer to park a little closer, see the waypoint, because
it is less crowded. From there it is approximately 0.4 miles.
This section of the Cliff walk does pass along some steep
drop-offs to the ocean and rocks below. Cachers should be careful,
especially with little ones, to keep them on the trail to avoid a
fall. The cache is hidden just off the trail in a Muggle-rich area
with a sharp drop off adjacent to the hide. Keep the kids close by
when hunting for it.
The cache container is small with only enough room for a log and
very small trade items. We were only able to squeeze a micro TB in
to start. The cache does not contain a pen. The coordinates should
bring you right to the edge. If you are over the edge, you've gone
too far.
