This is the name by which Woodhall Lake is known locally. (I will leave you to make up your own mind as to whether the name is merited). The fact that this site is on the boundary between Leeds and Bradford is exemplified by the statement that it is owned by Bradford City Council, leased to Bradford University and managed by Leeds City Council Leisure Services Department.
The site comprises of a 0.8 hectare lake which is surrounded by a mixed broadleaf woodland. It is part of the ‘Forest of Leeds’.
The cache is located on the far side of the lake from the Woodhall Road, where parking is available (N53.48.486, W1.41.641). You need to pass the lake, go through the stile and head North for a short distance on a well marked path. GPS can be erratic under the tree cover.
