This geocache is being place for the fall camporee. It was designed for the Webelos and Boy Scouts to be able to do.Wear long pants due to the nettles. The gate is locked at dusk so be prepaired to sleep in you car if you don't get out in time. This is not a night time cache.
This is a multi stage geocache designed to test the skill of the boys. To test their understanding of GPS, and to leave no trace. By the time the general public finds this, there should be nice paths to all stages. Please use care in finding and replacing all stages, some are fragile. The kind people here would like everyone to stay to the trails. It also makes things more interesting. All stages are no more then 20 ft from the trails, so very little bushwackkkkkkking is needed. Enjoy and if you have scout history or pictures from the past feel free to post them on the page. Also if you have scout items. this is a good place to drop them. FTF goes to CKnockhead and DDD at the event. BSLeaderson was #3 and yes i made him look for it to without a hint. The event was great we had 321 scouts and 65 leaders. the weather was COLD at night (around 27deg) but no rain and beautiful days. take care in the search and watch for holes on stage 4. there are new trees the boys planted at the event.
