Greetings...
This cache is located just off Snowbird Mountain road in Hartford
Tennessee.Chunky and myself was out one day "jeeping" through the
countyside when we found this little jewel......
Cache is an ammo can ...
please hide back better..now..about the the road getting to the
cache and the reason for the difficulty...
From the last paved road to the general cache location, it is
approx. 3.4 miles long..part of the road is level..some
steep...part gravel..part dirt ...part deep washed out spots ..
.some spots deep loose gravel....not one of the roads to take the
accord or maxima on....
if you have a 4x4 , jeep or big truck ..this is probably a 2 1/2
and 2 1/2 difficulty/terrain .....if you want to park and walk from
about half way up..then its ATLEAST a 4/4
difficulty/terrian.....
one little tid-bit of info.... ..
1. while making one of many trips up to this location, Chunky and
myself had parked in the level area at the top ....we had walked
around about 15-20 minutes when we decided to head back down the
road ...as we approached the pathfinder, I just about stepped on a
6ft rattlesnake...YES..A RATTLESNAKE.....we have pics to upload
later on...so be careful.......
