Nestled in a small King Township valley, not far from the hurried activity of Highway 400 lies the tiny hamlet of Kettleby. Its older homes, neighbourly residents and serene surroundings are reminders of a different time – a time when the people of Kettleby built their lives and their community around a flour mill.
Today, the mill is gone, but the people of Kettleby – all 130 of them – are still building their community in the spirit of neighbourly friendship and deep respect for the heritage of the village. This site is for the people of Kettleby, their neighbours, friends and any friends-to-be who may want to drop by just to say hello.
Why not come for a visit the first Saturday after Labour Day, this is the weekend for the real Kettleby Fair.
