Paris Springs Traditional Cache

Located on Historic Route 66, the Paris Springs Access is a Department of Conservation Area on Turnback Creek.
Paris Springs Junction was settled in 1872. By the turn of the century, the town was known for its iron-rich healing waters as travelers partook of the nearby springs and bottled waters that were produced here at one time. All that is left today is an old gas station and garage that was once called Gay Purita after the local proprietor.
The conservation area with the same name is a fishing access and hunting area. Hunting includes, deer, turkey, dove, quail, rabbits and squirrels.
The cache is located in the woods, away from the fishing area. There are a few tractor paths, or animal trails. There were no maintained trails that I saw. Cache is well hidden ammo box. The area had heavy tree cover, so I averaged the location over 500 times.
I found very little on the Conservation web site about this area. It did state "No horseback riding" and listed hunting as one of the activities. Hours posted are 4AM to 10PM. I couldn't find any other rules or regulations posted. Bonus hint: Cache elevation is about 1029'
