This is a themed cache.
A few years back, an enterprising chap realised that it would be fun to share some of his favourite books with other people. So, he tagged his books like travel bugs and released them into the wild. He also created a web page that allowed him to track the books to see what other people thought of them. Thus, BookCrossing.com was born.
This cache is a BookCrossing zone. The idea is to pick up a book you hadn't read before, and to leave a book that you have enjoyed, so that someone else can share the pleasure. There should be enough room in the box for about five regular sized paperbacks.
Please limit your swaps to paperback books that you've already registered on the BookCrossing.com website.
There's still the regular geocaching logbook if you're not into reading that much. Please make sure you fasten the lid tightly when leaving to make sure the box stays watertight.
Oh, and enjoy the local surrounds. It really is quite peaceful there.
