FT-058 Boardwalk Nature Adventure! Mystery Cache

FT-058 Boardwalk Nature Adventure!

The listed coordinates do not bring you to the cache location, they
bring you to the beginning of your adventure. Once you have arrived
at the starting location you should not need to step off the
boardwalk at all to locate the cache.
The cache is hidden at the South Shore Nature Center which is
located off of Bay View Avenue in East Islip, NY. There is no
admission charge and are open 7 days a week between April 1st and
October 31st from 9AM to 5PM. Closed weekends November thru March.
Closed on major holidays.
This is going to be a new kind of cache for me but lets try it and
see how it goes. This adventure will bring you along the boardwalk
to locations, follow my driections precisely and you will find the
cache. Be sure to bring a camera, on my hike I saw a chipmunk, a
few snakes, 3 deer, a few frogs and toads, tons of birds, sqirrels
and a turtle.
Now for the adventure!
1) Once you are at the boardwalk continue along it till you reach
an intersection, then turn RIGHT
2) Continue along till your next intersection then LEFT
3) Continue along till your next intersection then RIGHT
4) Continue along till your next intersection and go straight
5) Take the boardwalk to the end and note the number on the small
plaque
6) Turn around and go back the way you came
7) Continue along till your next intersection then RIGHT
8) Go to the end of the Boardwalk.
9) The number I had you note before... multiply it by 3 and count
the boards till you hit your new number (The number on the small
plaque times 3)
10) Get on your knees and you should be able to see the LIGO
sticker
11) Sign the logbook
12) Go back however you want :)
