Decided to place this cache while hiking the trail to grab two
other caches, Sub-Mariners Rock Box and Ancient Mariner. Thought
this was such a great hike and that it needed another cache, and
just happened to have the makings of a small cache in my pack, so
decided I'd place one at about the halfway mark. The end of the
trail has an absolutely magnificent view of windward Oahu. Cache
location is a great spot to take a quick water break and enjoy the
views of Koko Crater. Please re-hide the cache well so others may
enjoy it. And enjoy the hike and the views! PLEASE RE-HIDE THE
CACHE AS WELL OR BETTER THAN YOU FIND IT.
I do not live on the island, but visit every couple of months,
so if a local cacher would like to assist in maintaining this cache
that would be great!
Small note on cache maintenance: This is outside
my home caching area but I am usually on Oahu once every 60 days,
so maintenace will not be an issue.
