Aloha! Created this cache to honor two special ladies, Toots and Geri. Good friends and lots of fun, they have made a difference for many. This container was originally a small camoufied glass spice jar, thus the name "sinnamon". It has been replaced a few times with similar size containers. Please rehide carefully. Mahalo.
Located in town of Naalehu, this is a quiet peaceful town that has gone through transition as sugar cane is no longer farmed here. The community cares a great deal for one another. Wednesday and Saturday brings an outdoor market near the Ace hardware store. (They often have T-shirts on sale there with waypoints of southern most market in USA!) Punaluu Bakery, A Hui Hou Cafe and Shaka (great Maitais) all have interesting food and good places to stretch your legs if traveling around the island. Check out the rodeo arena near the park. Mark Twain has written about this area. Lots of history all around.
