Geocache Description:

Arrghhh! This be a cache along t' Santa Cruz coast at Lighthouse Field State Beach, and 'tiz part o' t' Dead Man's Chest series o' geocaches.

On a dark and stormy night long ago when pirates sailed the Seven Seas, the pirate ship North Sea Dragon wrecked upon jagged rocks along the Santa Cruz coast.

The half-drowned survivors struggled ashore with their pirates treasure amassed by plundering Spanish ports along the Pacific Coast.

They hid their treasure chest (filled to the brim with gold doubloons, rubies and pieces of eight!) and vowed to a man to return for their cache.

They built a launch from the wreck of the North Sea Dragon and went back to sea.

But the unlucky pirates met with even more ill-fortune, and none of them was ever heard from again ....

That is, at least, until the day that you found a Message in a Bottle and a Treasure Map!

Enjoy! And happy caching!

P.S. Avast there, matey!

This here cache contains one o' two clues needed t' solve for t' mystery cache Dead Man's Chest: Pirates' Treasure.

And if I were you, I would read and ponder t' Map notes at t' cache very carefully.
