Geocache Description:

Along the river between Newbridge and Vale Royal Locks. The path along the river is fairly easy with a couple of gates to negotiate from either direction. A lovely walk when the weather is good, there are always a lot of Herons along the river

The cache is a 2-3 litre sandwich box in a camouflage bag, it originally contained various children's goodies (I think children should be encouraged to find caches), It contains the usual logbook and pen, pencil and sharpener. In winter wellies or waterproof walking boots may be required. This cache can be done from Newbridge or from Vale Royal Golf Club, either way it is just over 2 miles round-trip if done with Newbridge and Ring of Magnetism.

Note, April 2010: Periodically I will be dropping off dupicate or no longer wanted books. These books will be registered with bookcrossing, feel free to take them, log them, read them and pass them on to others. They are exempt from the normal "trade up, trade even, or don't trade"  ettiquette.
