My Redemption for the universally hated Micro (Easy Grab at Lake Cherokee) which has now been put to rest.
A cache so good, it's been muggled three times!
I hate micros... Always have and always will. Some are cleverly hidden in elaborately designed containers and those are ok for the most part. But still, part of the fun of Geocaching for me at least, is to find a box, open it up and sift through its treasures, most of which I'd never buy for myself but which I'd happily dig through briars and thorns for.
My original cache near this location, "Easy Grab at Lake Cherokee" was a tiny green micro hidden in the fronds of one of the palm trees. If you were lucky, you wouldn't be bleeding by the time you finally gave up on this cache. A few lucky folks found it. Even though it was my cache, I still hated it, and when it came time to retire it, it took me an hour to find it.
So, in order to redeem myself, I have pulled that cache and created this new one. You are looking for a standard green ammo can (30 cal) with some goodies. If you are within a few yards of this, its location should be easy..
Please be careful to put the cache back in its original location and cover well. I lose $10 whenever these are muggled. No foliage needs to be destroyed to find this.
Good luck to you!
