Geocache Description:

Looking forward to a "Fall" get together in Great Falls, at Oddfellows Park, from 11AM to 3PM,

"or untill the last person leaves."

   October 14th, 2006

Just opening up a chance for us all to get together, meet some of the new cachers, and revisit with some old timers, (you know who you are). No events planned at this time, except possible "Who can give the best Geo-Story". Anyone wanting to set up a few activities feel free, or let us know your ideas and we will see what we can do. Bring a few pictures, any TB's you want to share, or possible a cache container your working on, yea... right... like your going to let that cat out of the bag.

This will be a Potluck lunch, chicken will be provided.  A head count will help us get a good idea of how much chicken will be needed. Please log a note to say if you are coming and what you would like to bring, so we don't get all the same thing.

*** Please Bring your own drinks ***

     Hope to see you there...

Last Update 15 October 2005
What a fantastic day it turned out to be with such a large turn out, food of all types, and the greatest people around to visit with. We had Lightkeeper there to give us an update on the FWP policies for Geocaching. Also Wavector from The Geocaching Alberta South Society (GAS), provided us some great information on Geocoins after donating two coins to the drawing.  Several people donated to the drawing, with Low Land Luwie winning his own walking stick. What a guy, he turned around and held an auction for it, bring in another $35.00 for the Rivers Edge Trail. We have $70.00 to turn over to the Rivers Edge Trail from the Geocachers attending the event and had a great time doing it. Thanks to all of you who donated items, food and your time to make this a great event.
A very special thanks to Bob and Liz, aka “Relish” and Calvin and Peggy aka “Calkan” for their hard work and for their support for this event, without them it would not have happened. And Gordon and Kathi, aka K&Gseekers for helping man the table, you were all such a great help.

Thank You!

Most of all, thanks to all of you who came and joined in for the event.

GF Cachers
One of the best things that came out of this event was the huge interest shown for a local Geocaching club. In that interest, I have set up a temporary email as a contact point, please send your interests and comments to me, and lets make it happen. I know I am very excited about it and hope you are also.
