Can you find my lost little ducky?

I was out at the creek with my little ducky just playing in the water and having a fun time splashing around. Then a moose walked up to us and asked what we were doing. So I talked to him for a while and he decided he was getting hungry (aren’t moose always) so he wandered off.
When I went back to continue playing with my little ducky I couldn’t find him. Did he run off? Did the moose scare him away? Did the current take him down the creek? OH NO my little ducky is lost!!!
I called and called but he didn’t come back. I found his little tracks heading in to the woods but the tracks disappeared so I couldn’t follow.
Would you help me find my lost little ducky?
If you find him just make sure he isn’t lonely and is safe.

As for the cache, it’s about the size of a peanut butter jar. It is well hidden but easy to find. Please don’t mess up the hiding area and replace it as it was.
