Geocache Description:

The cache is located at the northern end of Squaw Island in Squaw Island Park. The park closes at 10PM, so no night caching please. It is a medium size Lock & Lock type container containing a few things for trade.

When I had planned to hide a cache here, I was originally going to call it "How Do I Get There?" since I never knew how to get over to that spot. I always saw lots of people fishing so I knew it was publicly accessible, but just couldn't figure it out. While going for a bike ride one day, I found the way. Can you find the way to get to the park?

As for the origin of the cache name, while attending GHAGAFAP V in Canada I won a generic Lock & Lock container in a raffle. Since it was generic, it was given the name of Lock & Leak by the GHAGAFAP planning committee. I found that to be funny, and the name stuck.

The cache is hidden amongst a large amount of rocks and boulders which acts as a breakwall between the Niagara River the Black Rock Lock. GPS reception was quite good here, but there are plenty of places to search so I hope my coordinates are right on and you don't spend forever looking. The terrain is very rocky, so it is not recommended for little kids. Be very careful!!
