Geocache Description:

IMPORTANT! There is a small pet grave next to this cache. Please respect it as if the wee beastie buried here was a member of YOUR family! This is a small Lock & Lock type container. It has an accuacy of +/- 1.5 metres with 400 samplings. There is a small piece of orange flagging tape 1m above the cache.

Welcome to my first Cache. This cache is located in a small park in Esquimalt, BC. There is a great deal of history here so have a look around. There are some buildings and gun emplacements left over from WWII. The Rainbow Barracks is the blue building to the east of the cache was the home of the Sea Cadet Corps Rainbow and the Navy League Cadet Corps Admiral Rayner until it was condemed. There is parking nearby at the Boat launch at N 48 25.278 W 123 24.596. There are lots of wild Black Berry bushes in the area so depending on the time of year you may want to bring a bucket with you.
