Inner City Park – Elbow Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

One Bad Ant: Having visited the area again, it's not going to be a good cache location for a long while. So I'll archive this one now and look at placing another later.

Geocache Description:

We urban ants spend a lot of time in the inner city and we want to introduce you to some of the interesting parks we have discovered.

This is an interesting little neighborhood tucked into a loop in the Elbow River. With only two streets providing access, we had driven by this area many times before we discovered this jewel of a park by the river. It's worth having a look at the houses on your way to the park, an interesting mix of well maintained 1920's houses and modern infills. You decide which compliment the area and which don't.

You will be tempted to take the direct route to the cache site … but we'd suggest taking the trail along the river AWAY FROM THE HOUSES. Please respect the newly planted trees.

The cache is a large plastic container. The cache contains a FTF certificate and gift, a logbook and SWAG.
