After seeing the uproar that Phobia has caused themurphys2003 and I have decided to plan a survivor geo-junky challenge to be held on December 2, 2006 from 9-1PM at Under the Oaks Park. We are planning a cook-out with hamburgers, hot-dogs and vegi-burgers for us Vegetarians. If everyone else could bring a side dish, paper products, drinks or chips. Please sign up for something when you post your attendance. I will keep a running list as to what everyone is bringing on this link so that everyone can sign up for something different. Christmas head gear is also required. No gear - no playing with the big kids.
There is a beautiful play ground for the youngsters and depending on the weather - the beach is nearby. You can never predict our Florida winter weather. You do not have to participate in the geo-challenge to attend. This is just a get together before the holiday rush.
So- what to expect? A good survivor challenge. Christmas related of course! Teams will be assigned once you arrive. That's so that all you experts aren't on the same team. Duhhhh!!! Only one GPS and one compass will be allowed per team. Ahhhhh. becoming difficult already.
You will have a phone a friend option (I use this often as Bartender13 can attest) so have a good reliable phone number available, a pass and a 50/50 option per team.
Hope to see everyone there. This is not for the weak! This will live up to a five star challenge.
