Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of several caches, based on some of the best loved nursery rhymes. These are my first caches so I hope you like them. Annabug14 - 8 years old

Little Bo Peep is an old favorite nursery rhyme that many only know the first verse, so here is the rhyme is in its entirety.

Little Bo-Peep

Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep, And doesn't know where to find them. Leave them alone, and they'll come home, Wagging their tails behind them.

Little Bo Peep fell fast asleep, And dreamt she heard them bleating. But when she awoke, She found it a joke, For they were still all fleeting.

Then up she took her little crook, Determined for to find them. She found them indeed, But it made her heart bleed, For they'd left all their tails behind them!

It happened one day, as Bo-Peep did stray Into a meadow nearby. There she espied, Their tails side by side, All hung on a tree to dry.

She heaved a sigh, and wiped her eye, And over the hillocks went rambling. And tried as she could, As a shepherdess should To tack each again to its lambkin.

Bet you are wondering when you arrive at the cache site, why did she pick this spot for Little Bo Peep - this area was once called Cotton Mill Hill as tribute to the Burlington Industries Clothing Factory that once stood close by (it is now the site of the Medical Mall). So little sheep with their wool and the cotton fields that once were thriving industry in the area, were part of why we picked this rhyme for this site.

There is also a little hint tucked away in verse four that will give you a clue too. So read the rhyme again and think about Little Bo Peep's dilemma, as you search. Posted sign that the cache site closes at 10:30 pm so be sure to adhere to the time constraints of this cache. Enjoy the hunt!
