A neat little micro hidden near the heart of Lakewood’s medical community.
When you need a quick fixer-upper or a major bit of rework, this is the place in eastern Manatee County where we all head. In fact at the hospital located nearby, my son Mitch was the absolute first patient to be examined there. He had a soccer game deadline and they opened ahead of schedule to offer free high school sport’s physicals and since he had a game to get to they moved him to the front of the line. Yup, first to ever been checked up here. And definitely not the last as BigMahma was a recent patient and a little inspiration for me to break into this area with a new cache ;O)
When you seek this cache you will find yourself surrounded by medical facilities of all types and specialties. But hopefully your visit here is strictly geocaching in nature. There is plenty of public parking here and you should be able to not need much stealth as the muggles around will probably be pretty much on a mission.
Be sure to hide this back as you found it and be sure to bring your own pen as this is a micro and only contains a small log book (so keep your log short). Enjoy the cache and please practice CITO and cache carefully so you don’t end up needing more here then a quick PAG :O)
Cache hide was moved slightly 2/8/08 and a new hide technique employeed to hopefully avoid any future mugglings. Hope you enjoy the new camo and PLEASE re-hide as well as you found it. You may have to pursude the cache from it's hiding place with a pocket knife or something like that as it is a snug fit (which should fool the muggles).
