Frozen In Time Traditional Cache
M-A-D Team: Went to check on the cache today, only to find it wasn't there. I searched the immediate area to no avail. Apparently someone really liked my container and decided to keep it...

Placed in the newly opened Oakes Quarry Park. I gave the terrain a 2 star rating because it is quite rocky and if it rains, the park can be flooded in some areas, including the main path. Overall though, the terrain is very flat and the main trail is wide and easily identified.
Come to the new Oakes Quarry Park and learn a bit of Ohio history. This park is very unique because it was once a working gravel pit that has been converted into a park. What makes it truely unique though is that the area contains many fossils and there are designated areas you can search for and take home fossil remains of what was once a thriving underwater environment.
Take a moment to read the signs and learn a bit about what you're seeing in the rocks. It's a fun way to learn.
This cache was placed with permission by the Fairborn Parks and Recreation Dept. Please obey all park rules and only take fossils from the designated areas. Special prize for first to find is an official Geocaching keychain compass. For second to find is an official Geocaching compass zipper pull.
