Geocache Description:

Cache is hidden in Edgewood Oak Brush Plains Preserve. Terrain is mostly flat with some mild bushwhacking for the last 25 feet. Cache will be an easy find. Really, it will be. I promise.

I owe Edgewood a cache since my last one here lasted only a few days before it was burned to a crisp. This location is closer to the center of the burn area. Last time I was here was right after the fire. The ground was still smoldering then and everything was black as far as you could see. Amazingly, the is already seeing re-growth.

The main parking lot is on Commack Rd but there may be closer access points if you want. Hike is about .6 from the lot.

Cache is a medium Lock & Lock with the usual swag.
