Northern Kentucky Police Officers Memorial - Court and 3rd St, Covington KY
This cache holds only a log so please remember to bring a writing instrument. Stealth will mostly likely be required, as you will be visible to automotive traffic if nothing else. For those interested in modern architecture, this cache is adjacent to the Ascent at Roebling's Bridge condominium tower. A little too modern for my tastes, but some people like it. And for those who enjoy the water, the riverfront is only a few blocks north.
On-street metered parking is available nearby on Scott St. Most streets in the immediate area of the cache are resident only parking. On-street free parking may be found south of 4th Street on Greenup St. Check the signs for visitor parking areas. Some blocks are resident parking on one side of the street and allow visitor parking on the other. Please be careful crossing streets to get to this one. It may be wise to approach on the south sidewalk of 3rd Street until across from the memorial. Happy hunting...
