Theres no long hike to the cache but......
It's an Easy grab outside of Cripple Creek Overlooking "the
World's Greatest Gold Camp"
On a clear day you can see the Sangre Cristo mountains over 50
miles away
The altitude is almost 10,000 feet above sea level with uneven
walking terrain.
Nearby is the the Pikes Peak Heritage Center and lots of
parking
There's plenty of other things to do nearby. Great hiking trails,
You can take a ride on a old narrow gauge train, Go on a guided
tour down into the earth at the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine, Historic
things to see, and of course there is about 20 casinos in Cripple
Creek down below if you are feeling lucky.
