Geocache Description:

South Gower Park, established in the early 1970s, is a 67 acres recreation area off county road 22 in the historic township of South Gower. The park has three ball diamonds as well as a pavilion. A substantial playground is popular with children throughout the area. The municipality has recently upgraded the park to add soccer fields.

The cache resides in the wooded area on the southeast side of the park. The cache container is a camouflaged and concealed locking-style, five-cup capacity, plastic rectangular box.

To reach the park from highway 416 or Kemptville, take county road 43 east toward Winchester. Turn south onto county road 22 (South Gower Drive) at the flashing warning light. The park is approximate 1km south on country road 22. If you park in the large gravel lot adjacent to the playground, you are within 100 m of the cache.

PLEASE: If you move something, return the cache site to its original state. And no spoilers, please, in your on-line log.
