Crunch, Crunch, Crunch....The
sound of caching and lunch. Get ready for
the next GPSC Event.
Who : All cachers near and far
who will be in the Palm Springs area. Looking for
adventurers, experienced or newbies, who would like to talk
about or learn about geocaching and geocoins.
What: A Crunch Event combines caching
and lunch. So you will need your GPS, writing stick, lunch money,
and contest Altoids can (optional, but we
really wish you would -- see below)and bring your geocoins to
share.
When : 11:00 to 3:00 Saturday Oct. 28th

Why : Hibernation time is over -- all
desert cachers are now coming out to play!!!
Altoids Can Decoration Contest with
Prizes
1. MUST BE A NORMAL SIZED ALTOIDS CAN - no
minis
2. Decorate, alter, transform your Altoids can
any way you wish but the lid must open to hold the cache
information/log book like a normal can.
3. There will be 3 categories:
The Sneakiest - best camo for its setting, hard to
find when placed.
Scream the Theme - all about Halloween
Just Plain Funny - go for the biggest
laugh.
Each Geoname (ex. tntc) can enter one
can per category
Special Prizes for the 13 and under crowd
Voting will take place starting at 11:30 and end at 2:30 - need
not be present to win but if you are not there we will hide your
prize in a (5/5)13 step multi-puzzle cache. Trick or Treat - just
kidding.
