Geocache Description:

You are looking for an ammo can located within the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve, which is one of only 26 such reserves in the nation. Spanning three rivers, the Reserve encompasses over 60,000 acres of salt marsh, wetlands, oyster bars, estuarine lagoons, and uplands. There is absolutely no need for bushwacking to reach this cache.

The cache is located near the Reserve's Environmental Education Center. The area where the cache is located can be accessed daily from 9am to 5pm; however, the Environmental Education Center closes at 4pm. The Center includes interpretive exhibits, aquariums, classrooms, a reading room, teaching and working laboratories, an auditorium, and an outdoor amphitheater overlooking the Guana River Aquatic Preserve. We received approval to hide this cache at this location.
