"We do not know where this journey
will end," said the President, "yet we know this: Human beings are
headed into the cosmos."
These are exciting times in space
exploration. A rover on Mars has reached the stunning panorama of
Victoria Crater, lakes have been found on Titan, an orbiter is
searching for lava flows on Venus, and spacecraft are enroute to
Pluto and Mercury. Even more exciting is NASA now has a
presidential mandate to send humans to the Moon and
Mars!
This is a space-themed cache hidden along
a greenbelt. There are some thorns and poison ivy, but it can be
avoided. To complete this cache, you must first voyage to the Moon,
which is represented by a green plastic container the size of a
hockey puck. Inside the container are the coordinates for your
landing site on Mars, where upon landing you will find an
alien-green metal ammo box that contains space related cargo.
Please ensure you exchange with items other astronauts and
explorers would appreciate.
Note: Approaching Mars
is best done by entering the woods from the west edge and then
proceed via a Hoffman transfer orbit to your objective; the
south edge facing Plano Parkway has lots of thorns and
asteroids.
Good Luck & Godspeed!
