Geocache Description:

After the Columbia Complex fire road closures were lifted I thought I would check out the Blue Mountains. I prepared a watertight container for a Geocache hide while traveling the roads. Had never been to the Table Rock lookout and thought this would be a great spot to place it. The views up here are out of this world! The city of Walla Walla water supply is clearly visible to the west. The Mill Creek Watershed is huge and well marked as a DO NOT trespass area. This lookout has stood the test of time! First placed there in 1929 and has since seen some updates over the many years. The road up is best traveled with a 4x4 or a rig with higher clearance than a passenger car. Best to go during a dry period or after only a light rain. This cache should be left alone during the winter unless you want to snowmobile in and dig under the snow. Be sure to check with Forest Service about road closures etc. before heading up. Cache is in a clear watertight container with lots of neat (new) items. Mostly office product type things. Log book included of course in a seal top bag. Please do your best to snap the container back together tightly to kept dirt and water out. THANKS
