This cache is in an area frequented by fisherpersons, so we thought that just in case the fish weren't biting, or the weather wasn't really suited to fishing (such as the snowstorm that occurred just as we were leaving the car to place this cache) we would leave a container full of fishy paraphernalia for frustrated fishers or others to find!
Update October 2015
You can no longer drive to this cache. We need to do further research, but we have checked with locals who are of the opinion that it is still ok to walk through the bush to the cache, starting from the area around: 41 59.372, 146 42.063. But, please stay away from the new house up the private road.
Update April 2023
There is more and more building happening in this area and it may no longer be appropriate to approach the cache from the starting point suggested in October 2015. Instead, you might like to park at a spot such as 041° 59.073' E 146° 41.871' and make your way to the cache via the various bush tracks and animal pads. Fishy swaps, if possible, please. Oh, and the DDTS frown on the use of frogs as fish attracters - but if you must have amphibians as bait, go plastic please!!!
