Altitude 2239. In the beautiful Malheur County of Eastern Oregon.
We found this hiding place as we were checking our mail. We thought this would be a fun place for a cache. A little off the beaten path for some, but so are a lot of the caches around here. In this case, being on PRIVATE PROPERTY is OKAY.
On your way you will see a grocery store, a livestock auction, an RV Park, and railroad tracks.
The people in the house are really cool. That be us. Come say "hi" if the Jeep and the white Suburban are on the property. We gave ourselves permission to put the cache on our property. Also say hi to the new kids. That being Sissy and Pancho. Two boer goats. They love to meet new people and other (human) kids.
The cache container is (as of 11-15-06) a 30 caliber ammo can (no longer the 40 oz. clear container), so it has more room for travel bugs. It contains a log book, pencil & sharpener, some fun trading items.
