Paddle your canoe or kayak to a small island on Cloud Lake
This cache is for canoe or kayak enthusiasts. Other boats can get to the small island, but the surrounding water is very shallow. Park at N44 52.052 W64 53.871 for the closest access (about 1.5 km paddling). This spot is usually occupied by the Air Cadet survival camp in July and August, and may be very busy with geomuggles. While the cadets are in the area, it is recommended to use the other landing at N44 52.510 W64 52.299, (about 3 km paddling). This second landing is very close to "The 3 Stooges and a Ring Leader Stash" geocache if you want to do both the same day. Both landings are accessible by public road; cars with low ground clearance should drive slowly, as these are back country gravel roads. Original cache contents was: 2 canadian flags; Icelandic Decision Block; 1 micro-cassette; 1 diskette; eyeglasses neck strap; Euro-Fighter sticker; glass stones; motorcycle pin; log book, pen and pencil.
