Cache-tech: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have had no contact with the cache owner since my last note and there has been no notes posted to the cache page in that time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.
When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link (Mine) across the top and then click on this cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
Cache-tech

Geocache Description:

This CACHE is Located in Pasadena....just off Glendale Road. Cache is quite easy to find....uphill might be a small bit of a challenge for younger kids, might be a tad bit slippery.

In Pasadena,
Turn left on Glendale and drive 10 meters past Iron Gate to fork in the road on the right. We suggest parking your vehicle but watch out for large rocks. Take the road that branches to the right. There is a path on your left where a lot of branches haven been piled up. Walk approx 88 feet in a southeast direction(uphill) There you will find beautiful green flora on the East side of the trail. The cache is located under a pile of logs, about 42 feet in from the trail. There is a visable atv trail not too far from the cache.

This is my very first cache. Hopefully it is easily found. The cache is a 2kg beef bucket with a red lid. The following items are what I originally placed in it.

-4 Canada pencils
-Hard Rock Cafe pin
-girl Guide crest
-WWJD bracelet
-Emergency poncho
-Blank DVC Tape (fujifilm)
-McDonalds Lion King toy
-Kids magic Sand
-Blue foil tissue paper wrap
-measuring tape
-ladies hankie
-toy car
-stuffed animal
-winnie the pooh figurine
-straw purse
-log book in ziplock with pen

Please make sure that the lid is on very tightly. I have placed most items in ziploc baggies that could have potential for water damage. Ensure that the cache is well covered up when you leave.
