Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a public park with easy terrain and minimal difficulty level.

The cache is located in a beautiful park beside the Sacandaga River in Hadley, NY. called Dean Mountain Whitewater Park. It is a good cache for the kids to visit. The terrain is easy as it is a short walk from the parking lot. The area has been littered in the past and some care should be taken to avoid glass and metal. There is a view of a railroad trestle and a recently restored historic bow bridge. If the weather is favorable one can watch rafters, kayakers and tubers enjoying the whitewater rapids. The cache is an ammo box containing a variety of goodies including many kid friendly items. Since this is often populated, please beware of muggles.
