Dolnohodruské jazero
Tento poklad vás privedie k Dolnohodruskej vodnej nádrzi nad obcou Hodrusa-Hámre, starobylou baníckou osadou v srdci Stiavnických vrchov, ktorej existencia sa spája s baníctvom a tazbou zlato-strieborných rúd v 13. a 14. storocí.
Dolnohodruská vodná nádrz je dnes sucastou lokality Svetového kultúrneho dedicstva "Banská Stiavnica", ktorá bola zapísaná do Zoznamu svetového dedicstva v roku 1993. Hrádza bola vystavaná v rokoch 1743-1744 podla projektu Samuela Mikovíniho, ktorý osobne viedol jej výstavbu. Maximálna hladina nádrze je vo výske 705,8 m.n.m. a maximálny objem predstavuje 575 720 metrov kubických.
V okolí nádrze sú zachovalé komplexy bukovo-jedlových kvetnatých lesov, kde sa v starých porastoch dodnes vyskytujú nase najvacsie selmy: medved hnedý, rys ostrovid, macka divá a rovnako sa tu darí dravým vtákom ako mysiak horny, jastrab velký a vcelár obycajný.
Nádrz je mozné obíst chodníkom po celom jej obvode a pokial mate dobré nohy mozte zbehnút chodníckom aj ku spodnej casti hrádze a pozriet si impozantný vodopád z jazera, ktorého hukot budete pocut az na hrádzi. V sucasnej dobe samotná nádrz slúzi na rekreacné ucely a netreba zabudnut, ze kazdorocne sa práve tu v lete uskutocnuje sútaz v ryzovaní zlata (aurum) s názvom Zlatá Hodrusa...

Dolnohodruské jazero
This treasure will lead you to the Low Hodrusa Lake above the village Hodrusa-Hámre, an ancient miner's village, in the heart of Stiavnica Hills, which existence is connected with mining and extraction of golden-silver ores in the 13th and 14th century.
The Low Hodrusa Lake is today a part of the locality "Banská Stiavnica", which has been in 1993 inscribed on the List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage of UNESCO. The dam has been build in 1743-1744 based on the project of Samuel Mikovini, which has been in charge of its construction. The maximum altitude of the lake level is 705,8 m and the maximum volume of the lake is 575 720 cubic meters.
Around the lake is a well-preserved deal-beech forrest, where you still can see the biggest Slovak animal beasts like brown bear, lynx, wild cat and also wild birds like hawk.
You can take a nice walk around the lake and if you have strong feet, take the path to the bottom of the dam and find there the majestic lake waterfall, which roar can be heard even on the top of the dam. The lake itself is today used for holiday and recreation purpose and we should not forget that every year in the summer the contest in the (aurum) gold-washing called Golden Hodrusa take place right here...
