As the local story goes...
About 80 years ago, a farmer went crazy and killed his family
and neighbors with an axe along Plevoc Road. Since then, all of the
houses in that area have been removed. You'll notice their old
apple orchard still nestled along the paths. IF YOU DARE to
find the hermit, walk towards the lake on Fitzsimmons Road. When
you get to the wooded area, look left and you will see a dirt hill
which is the remains of Plevoc Road. DO NOT GO DOWN THIS ROAD
ALONE OR YOU WILL BE A MEMBER OF THE FOOD CHAIN!
In the 1950's and 60's, legend has it that Fitzsimmons Road was
used for drag racing. To win the race, they had to drive off the
cliff. You can still view the old rumble strips in the old road
near the lake. BEWARE OF THE SPIRITS ALONG THE CLIFF, especially
during a full moon!

And for the non-believers:
This geocache is a 6x6" round camo-covered Rubbermaid container.
There is room for small travel bugs. It currently contains a log
book with two pencils, dead rats, skeletons, human bones, spiders
and other scary trinkets. Please replace with similar items.
