Geocache Description:

Cache hidden at the "Welcome To Tamaqua" sign on the town's south approach on Route 309. Made the difficulty a 2 because this is a very high traffic area where muggles abound. Cache contents are just a log, please bring your own pen. Five different readings were taken for the coordinates, ranging from 23 to 39 feet in accuracy.

On the far side of the parking lot is the start of the trail that used to be the Lehigh & New England Railroad. There are two other caches on the trail and one a short distance from the trail's southern end.

Caches on trail:
GCPB5F - Lehigh & New England Rail Trail
GCQ83K - DeRailed

Cache near southern end of trail:
GCPXAF - My First Cache, A Quickie

The cache container is held in place by its lid. When you find the cache be gentle and ensure it is connected to the lid properly when you return it.
