The cache contains a $2.00 FTF gift from Tim Horton's

Growing up in the south end of Sarnia in the 50's and 60's as I did , the Sarnia water tower was a familiar landmark in the neighbourhood . It stood in a large field that was bounded by the CN railway tracks to the south and Campbell Street to the north . The site was also used for countless travelling carnivals that arrived during the summer months .

The tower is gone now and the field is filled with buildings - just the memories remain . The photo was taken in October of 1968 during the construction of the new Vidal Street overpass . On the skyline is the old water tower which was soon to come down .
