Another offering in the FIRE/LOOKOUT TOWER series. This tower is
kept in nearly perfect condition. It is right next to a manned
Georgia Forestry Commission station. If you like finding these neat
structures, this one is a great specimen!
Since there is a good amount of county traffic here, I will make it
very plain where to find this one so there will be no suspicious
searching of the area. -- You will find the 30 cal. ammo box
partially buried in the middle of the azalea bed, which is at the
base of the tower on the road frontage side. The box is covered
with pine straw, so that no one else will hopefully see it besides
geocachers.
***NOTICE
-- Climbing the lookout tower is NOT allowed -- Grafitti and other
defacing is worthless and so unneccessary -- PLEASE respect the
area, and rehide the cache exactly as you found it, or as it is
described by the owner here -- THANK YOU***
