Geocache Description:

The terrain is rated 2.5 because the trail is pretty narrow at times and there are fallen trees and thorns to watch out for. Don't wear shorts or sandals here ;) This location is open from April 1st through December 31st from 7am to 10pm. A Metropark Permit is required!

This cache is located within a Metropark Fishing Access Site, a part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitian Authority Park System. A Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required: Annual Permit $20, Senior Permit $12, Daily Permit $4. For general information please call 1-800-47-parks, or visit the great web site at: www.metroparks.com. All park rules and regulations apply. Park in parking lots only.

Why this cache was placed here: This is a great fishing site. There is a quarter Mile trail along Huron River with plenty fishing spots.
The Cache: The cache is a very large ammo box. Please hide it as well or better than you found it.
Book Exchange: This cache is now big enough to run a little book exchange (among other trinkets). I left a bunch of books, mostly SCIFI although any genre will be fine (no adult stuff of course!). I have seen a book exchange cache somewhere in SD and people left a note in the log explaining why they liked the book they left. Neat idea :)
